Kennel of the Northern Breeds “Severnaya Nadezhda” (means “Northern Hope”) exist since 2004.
The kennel is registered in FCI-RKF. We have 20 adult Siberian Huskies & Alaskan Malamutes now.
Our activities are:
- Breeding of the sled-dogs
- Taking part in Dog Shows
- Sports for the sled dogs – winter races, skijoring, driland, pulka, kanicross, bikejoring. All stud dogs of our Kennel are Show Dogs & Sporting Dogs
- Organizing of winter race “Severnaya Nadezhda”
- Ecological tourism

Our achievements:
Dog Shows:
2 CACIB certificates, 1 RCACIB, over 30 CAC certificates, 4 special breed Show Certificates.
Sled Sports:
2005 – autumn race in driland & kanicross 3 rd place, winter race “Opening of the Season” skijoring 1 and 2 nd places
2006 – Championship of Russia 10 place (young masher among adult sportsmen), winter race in Chukavino – skijoring 2 - 3 rd place, race (2 dogs’ team) – 1 st place
2007 – Championship of Russia 13 place, regional race (6 dogs’ team) 3 rd place, summer pulka 2 nd place, kanicross 1 – 3 places.
Our Kennel is organized by Father Bartolomeo of Russian Orthodox Church for the Boarding School of St. Nicola’s Church in Kotkishevo (Kostroma region) . All our achievements – are achievements of children from the School. Our children are taking care on dogs, train them, dealing as handlers and mashers. The Kennel is established for social & psychological rehabilitation of children. It is one of the ways how love coming in their hearts and the way to learn how to work and win.
